VOLUNTEER

We are proud to have a large volunteer base of over 50 medical professionals including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, pharmacist technicians, dentists, psychiatrists, administrative staff, and interns.

Since our opening in May 2018, our volunteers have dedicated over 5,072 hours of service valuing at $322,049.

Our doors remain open because of the selfless hearts that our volunteers all have; each week, our volunteers serve those in need to provide affordable healthcare. We’d love to have you join our volunteer base!

Medical Volunteers

Primary Care and Specialty Physician: Provide medical care to uninsured patients.

Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant: Provide direct primary care services under the indirect supervision of physicians. Must have experience working in a primary care setting.

Medical Assistant: Assist providers with patient care and provide information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from Place of Hope Clinic.

Dental Volunteers

Dentist: Provide routine dental care (exam, evaluation, fillings, extractions).

Dental Hygienist: Provide routine oral care under the supervision of a volunteer dentist.

Dental Assistant: Provide technical assistance to volunteer dentists and hygienists providing care to underserved populations.

Supporting Role Volunteers

Translator/Interpreter: Translate patient documents and interpret for patients on the phone and in the office. Spanish interpreters are especially needed.
